Counting Tools and Features

CountThings from Photos helps businesses simplify counting workflows through automatic object detection and powerful counting tools.

In addition to accurate counting with Counting Templates, the app provides tools and features that help you review results, correct errors, manage counting data, and data integration.

You can always reach our support team for help setting up the app to fit your team's workflow.

The app operates in two modes: Basic and Advanced.

When you first open the app, it starts in Basic Mode, which includes essential tools to help you get started quickly.

For additional functionality, switch to Advanced Mode. This allows you to customize the interface and enable only the features you need for your workflow.

You can switch between modes directly from the Home Screen.

Basic Mode Tools
Define Count Areas
Draw an area around the items you wish to include in your current count, and exclude background items not related to your count.

Corrections
After counting, detected items are marked with tags. If any counting errors occur, you can add, delete, or move tags to ensure accurate results.

Advanced Mode Features
Forms
Create and customize Forms by including important details about your counted items and their results. This feature is useful for exporting counting data to a CSV file, and include additional data to Forms, such as GPS coordinates, volume of products, total counts, scanned barcodes and many more.

Saving and Integration
Save results directly to your device or send them to external systems through cloud and web services such as:

  • Google Drive
  • Microsoft OneDrive

Security features
You can use the app offline as long as you are logged in and have an active counting template.
The app does not collect information related to your counts. It only collects crash reports and limited usage statistics, which can be disabled in Settings.
