Available for:
When your photo has more objects than the stack you want to count, define the counting area and obtain relevant results for the selected items.
As an example, we will use a photo with drawn x’s and
the Xs on White Paper
Counting Template. The
Count Area feature
is available in the
Prepare Screen
, before counting the photo.

1. Access Define Count Area

Tap
Area
to open the Define Count Area Menu.

Use the
Count Area buttons
to define areas that tell the app where to count:
● Tap
INCLUDE
to turn on "Include in Count Area" mode, then draw an area around items you
want to count
.
● Tap
EXCLUDE
to turn on "Exclude from Count Area" mode, then draw an area around items you
do not want to count.
● You can tap the "
Delete"
button to
erase count areas
and start over the process.
Remember
: use two fingers to
pan
and
zoom in
the photo.

Tap the button
INCLUDE

Use 1 finger to
draw
areas around items you
want to count.
2.3
Items
outside
the
included area
are considered "
excluded
" and are
not
counted.
3. Exclude Only (example)
3.1
Tap the button
EXCLUDE
.
3.2
Use 1 finger to
draw
areas that
excludes
the items you
do not want to count
. Items in this area
will be ignored
.
3.3
Note that the items
outside
the
excluded area
are considered "
included
" and
will be counted
.
4. Include and Exclude (example)

INCLUDE
button and draw an area around the
items
you
want to count
.

Tap the
EXCLUDE
button and draw an area around the
items
you
do not want to count
(items that are inside the included area).
! Every time your area is defined, tap
COUNT
to receive the
count result
in
the Review Screen.
